Saw them years back w/Swervedriver in TX. Beth had black X’s made of electrical tape over her boobs, fishnet stockings, black shorts and engineering boots on. Several people left the show to go stand outside because it was SO LOUD! FYI, their first two albums were rereleased this year In double disc formats with unreleased and bonus tracks…BUY THEM!

very complex.
They are Shoegaze…they are real grunge distortion…they tapped into the real energy within music and were in it the vortex of noise in the moment of purity
in time in imagination and a original moment, moments.
FYI – Brad gets that nasty distortion by running his guitar through a Yamaha 4 track cassette recorder and overdriving the preamp, then running through the rest of his pedal board.
These guys played a show with Swervedriver at Bogies in Albany, NY on Superbowl Sunday, 1994. Me and my friends hung out with Brad and smoke joints right there while everyone else was out front at the bar watching the game. Loudest fucking show I’ve ever experienced.
